ABOUT Shanna Berk-Schmidt

Shanna graduated from the University of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana with a Bachelors of Science in Communications in 1993. She was recruited by the Chicago advertising firm, Leo Burnett and worked for them for several years in Chicago, as well as abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark and Frankfurt, Germany. After over a decade of working in the advertising business, Shanna made the move back to Chicago to pursue her family’s passion. She specializes in Greek coinage and works on the attribution and study of the many acquisitions of the firm. In addition to attribution responsibilities, Shanna works as one of Harlan J. Berk Ltd. leading salespeople. Shanna is a full member of the Professional Numismatist Guild since 2008.
