Ionia, Phocaea. c. 625-522 BC. Myshemihekte--1/24 stater, 0.66g. (12h). Obv: Helmeted head of Ares right; [seal below]. Rx: Quadripartite incuse square. Bodenstedt 15. SNG von Aulock 1787. Rare denomination; only four in Bodenstedt. Extremely sharp helmeted head of Ares. It is highly unusual to find this type of sharpness in a 1/24th stater. Mint State.
