Septimius Severus, Divus. Died 211 AD. Antoninianus, 3.63g. (1h). Rome, restored by Trajan Decius, 250-1 AD. Obv: DIVO SEVERO Radiate head of Divus Septimius Severus right. Rx: CONSECRATIO Eagle with raised wings standing right, head left. RIC 95 (R2). Cohen (S. Sev.) 799 (4 Fr.). Rare: only two specimens in Dorchester hoard.. Toned Fine, flan crack.
