Ionia, Miletos. Period V, c. 225-195 BC. Drachm, 4.75gg. (12h). Obv: Laureate head of Apollo right, with knot in hair. Rx: Lion standing right, looking back, star in field above him, MOI and MI monogram before him, [BI]Ù[N] in exergue. Cf. NAC 72, 16 May 2013, lot 915 (without knot in Apollo's hair). Cf. Deppert-Lippitz 674 = BMC 119 (Hemidrachm). This exact variety probably unpublished. EF.
